Nothing
Nothing. She felt nothing, saw nothing, heard nothing; or at least that's what Emily thought when she woke from her sleep. The cot that Noah gave her was nowhere to be seen, replacing it was nothing. And yet, she was there, the only thing that existed in the vast amount of nothing.
She wanted to speak. Emily quickly opened her mouth only to close it in silence, afraid if even her voice would make a sound in the void. If it did make a sound, it would only sound lost, confused, and lonely, the same feelings that were eating away at her heart. It was all happening again, she was alone, this time in nothing.
